Classic Carrot Salad
Ingredients

3-4 cups freshly grated carrots
1/2-1 c. Raisins
1 large apple, cored and chopped

Method
Mix all ingredients in medium bowl.

STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least min 2nd until it is completely dissolved. Add raisins and mix.

Add enough ice to measure 1-1/4 cups of orange juice. Stir in gelatin until slightly thickened. Remove any unmelted ice you. Gently stir in carrots. Pour into a large bowl or four individual dishes.

Refrigerator 2 hours or until firm. Store leftover salad in refrigerator.

If it really easy and safe, and you can make tons of variations.

You will need:
about 4-6 carrots
1 Apple
Lettuce (iceberg preferred)
1 cup pine nuts
2-3 cups of raisins
Olive
Lemon Juice
Pepper

1 / 4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons soup. Sugar
1 teaspoon of tea. Salt
1 teaspoon of tea. dry mustard
1 1 / 2 c. Milk
Egg 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1 / 3 C. vinegar
1 teaspoon of soup. Butter

Combine carrots, raisins and salt. Add enough salad dressing wet, start to cook. Pour into cups of salad. 8 to 10 servings.
Salad dressing: a mixture of flour, sugar, salt and mustard in a saucepan with 2 liters. Add milk gradually. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir 1 minutes. Stir at least half of the hot mass in egg yolks slowly. Blend into hot mixture in saucepan to give. Cook and stir 1 minutes. Remove from heat and add vinegar and butter. Let cool and refrigerate. Makes 2 cups dressing.
